AsCA 2019 Poster Prize

In December 2019, I attended the 16th Conference of the Asian Crystallographic Association (AsCA 2019). It was my first “real” conference since I joined ITB. The conference was really great and organized well. I am inspired by a lot of young scientists that are able to publish amazing results. Another reason to attend the conference is that I was also able to meet my doctoral supervisor and my former labmates.

Plus, I won the Best Poster Award by Cambridge Crystallographic Data Center (CCDC) for the Year 2019 on Chemical Crystallography. Unfortunately, I could not attend the prize ceremony, I have to catch my flight back to Jakarta. I asked my friend Sugiyama-san to take the prize for me.

The next AsCA will be held in Malaysia in 2021, I am planning to attend this great conference again.
